Challenge
Vermont faces a critical housing shortage that cuts across income levels—from affordable units to middle-income homes and starter housing. A statewide nonprofit housing coalition needed a unifying identity to raise awareness, build urgency, and galvanize action. The visual brand needed to be clear, optimistic, and easily adopted across communities and partner organizations.
Goals
- Create a vibrant, versatile logo that reflects the urgency and hope of Vermont’s housing movement.
- Create a visual identity that unifies advocacy efforts across sectors and audiences.
- Position the nonprofit as a credible, solutions-driven voice in the housing conversation.
Outcomes
We developed the “LET’S BUILD HOMES” logo as a modular wordmark that quite literally builds housing through type. With a palette of bold, optimistic colors and custom letterforms that echo construction and community, the identity feels both urgent and hopeful. The logo has become a central rallying point in Vermont’s housing advocacy landscape—appearing on signage, social media, websites, and at legislative events to promote policies that support housing for all.
